We’re thrilled to be managing this exciting pilot project to test the Orkney waters for a film festival.
West Side Cinema have collaborated with other screen facilities The Screen Machine, The Pickaquoy Centre, Gable End Theatre, The Cromarty Hall, St. Margaret’s Hope, Orkney and The Kelp Store to bring you what promises to be a fantastic fortnight of film activity across 13 different locations.
We’re also working with organisations such as The George Mackay Brown Fellowship, University of Stirling,
Art and Design Dept Orkney College UHI, Into Film and ØY Festival – Papa Westray.
Little did we realise when we started that the total film screenings and events would number over 90. We hope there’s something for everyone, wherever you are!
